It’s garden time! Don’t miss out on the spring season that will take your expert taste tester to the next level of trying new foods by growing and cooking fresh food at our new location: 1057 Hillcrest Road, Ridgewood, NJ! This nurturing hands-on experience is designed to introduce children at a young age to try a variety of natural foods and to build a solid foundation for their overall wellness. The 10-week program is offered weekday mornings, early afternoons and Saturday mornings during the fall, winter and spring seasons (the summer program follows a different schedule, click here for more information). Each season brings a new adventure into the discovery of growing, cooking and eating natural foods from nature. Parents receive our weekly deliciously healthy recipes to support family activities at home.
Our youngest expert taste testers, ages 3-5 have the opportunity to experience first-hand where their food comes from and why these foods are important for their bodies. The class is appropriate for kids who love their vegetables to the pickiest of eaters — our proven approach is effective in enhancing or changing habits for the child’s long-term health.
Can parents take a class, too? Absolutely! Register for the Nutrition Workshop Series covering weekly topics to help you create a healthy home with simple tips and recipes held during your child’s Seedlings class for an additional fee.
“Only after one month at HealthBarn USA, my 3 year old daughter is bringing her gardening tools to the backyard instead of her toys and she is helping me prepare food in the kitchen. She only liked tomatoes in a sauce, but now she is eating raw cherry tomatoes straight from the vine,” a Seedling mom.
