Super chopper!

It’s the garden season!  Don’t miss out on spring session for your chef in training to develop his culinary skills while harvesting fresh food and learning why these ingredients are best for the body at our new location: 1057 Hillcrest Road, Ridgewood, NJ!  This dynamic program aims to educate children ages 5-7 and their families about how to develop healthy behaviors and incorporate them as habits in their everyday lives.  The 10-week hands-on experience offered during the fall, winter and spring seasons brings a new adventure that utilizes the child’s five senses to creatively deliver the connection to overall health and well-being.  Parents also attend 3 one hour workshops (recommended, but optional) during the program for guidance in supporting their child’s new routine.

Can parents take a class, too?  Absolutely!  Register for the Nutrition Workshop Series covering topics to help you create a healthy home with simple tips and recipes held during your child’s Sprouts class for an additional fee.

This one-of-kind, nationally recognized program engages your child in:

  • Cooking natural and nutritious HealthBarn USA recipes.
  • Organic gardening while growing and harvesting their hand-grown fruits and vegetables (spring & fall seasons)
  • Learning nutrition through fun activities.
  • Establishing regular meals and exercise patterns.
  • Developing self-esteem and confidence in making healthy choices.
  • Practicing good manners, oral hygiene and food safety.
