Mother’s Day Breakfast

Today the Bergen Record came to the HealthBarn for a photo shoot of a healthy Mother’s Day breakfast.  We made Blueberry Buckwheat Pancakes and the Rainbow Swirley Smoothie — and we decorated the pancakes with powdered sugar and berries.  It was cool and we had fun doing it!

In the garden, we planted lettuce in bed #13 and #14, composted and cleaned the garden by taking the hay and weeds out of the garlic and strawberry beds!  We waved to a 3 engine, 66 car Susquehana train and they blew their horn and the engineer waved back.
