This easy recipe will quickly become a favorite in your home with its rich chocolatey flavor and fudge-like texture that will remind you of your favorite brownie mix. All you need is a food processor to blend simple ingredients together to indulge in a high protein, high fiber snack or dessert.  This is a great option to satisfy an afternoon sweet tooth. Enjoy the versatility of this delicious dip with pita chips, pretzels or your favorite sliced fruit.

Ingredients:

1 can (15-ounces) low-sodium chickpeas (garbanzo beans), rinsed and drained (keep the liquid from the can and set aside)
1/3 cup of aquafaba (the liquid from the canned chickpeas)
1/3 cup maple syrup
⅓ cup cocoa powder
1 Tablespoon extra-virgin olive oil
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
¼ teaspoon sea salt

Directions:

Place all ingredients together in food processor. Pulse until ingredients are smooth and scrape down the sides as necessary.

Makes 16 serving (2 tablespoons per serving).
