At HealthBarn USA, we believe that every garden should have a Christmas Tree.  This perennial pleasure grows one foot every year after it is planted.  We planted this evergreen seedling 4 years ago, so it’s almost 5 feet now!  We decided to decorate the tree this year with candy canes as requested by a student in our special needs classes at the barn.  The students had a great time during their scavenger hunt for candy canes last week in the garden.

Jim Abma, the farmer and owner of Abma’s Farm, still is not happy about a Christmas tree in the middle of his field, but we love it!
